New links with the Duchy of Cornwall

The Woodland Warrior Programme are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with the Duchy of Cornwall.

The Duchy of Cornwall is a collection of land belonging to the Duke of Cornwall, the eldest son of the reigning British monarch, currently Prince William. The Duchy owns 128,922 acres of land across 19 counties across the UK and are committed to the growth of communities, support for its rural tenants and battling climate change through its net zero goal and environmental initiatives.

On the 16th of May 2025, a group of public service workers and armed forces veterans attended a foraging experience day, focusing on conservation of the native landscape and mental wellness, while learning about wild medicine, edibles and the historical background behind it all.

The Woodland Warrior Programme are looking forward to working closely with the Duchy for future events!
